Terms and Conditions of Sale

Definitions

1.1       Buyer               Means the person who buys or agrees to buy the goods from the

Seller as the ‘Customer’.

1.2       Seller                Means Victoria Charles Headpieces whose address appears stated on this website as the ‘Seller’.

1.3       Delivery            The Seller will make delivery of the goods within a reasonable time unless a fixed date for delivery has been confirmed by the Seller in writing. Goods ordered can take up to 4/5 weeks to supply.

1.4       Price                 Means the price for the goods.

2.1       Upon the placing of the order the Buyer will pay a non-refundable deposit equal to

100% of the purchase price as quoted overleaf. Deposits cannot be transferred to other goods and are non-refundable except in the circumstances where the Seller cannot supply the goods ordered.

2.2       The Seller shall not be bound to deliver the goods until the Buyer has paid in full for them.

2.3       Title to the goods shall not pass from the Seller to the Buyer until all payments are cleared.

3.1       Goods will not be exchanged following delivery. Each Hat or Headpiece, unless a sale item, is made to order and therefore non refundable.

3.2       The goods shall be at the Buyer’s risk as from delivery and the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted goods upon delivery to the Buyer.

3.3       After acceptance the Buyer shall not be entitled to reject the goods except where there is a fault in the goods not identified to the Buyer prior to purchase and such fault had not been rectified by the Seller. Any fault must be logged with the Seller within 7 working days of receipt of goods and returned within 14 days.

3.4       Goods marked ‘Sale’ are sold as seen and subject to any defects existing at the time of sale.

4.1       Goods shall be supplied complying with their description and quality as specified by the Seller, shade variations cannot be avoided on ordered goods. Swatches are used for guidance only and are not intended to be an exact match.

4.2       All goods ordered will vary slightly in design from on the website or marketing material as each Hat and Headpiece is handmade.

4.3       Any alteration to the description, size, quantity, quality or design of the goods that will result in additional costs will be advised to the Buyer.

5.1       The Buyer shall become liable for payment of the full contractual price of the goods upon placing this order.
