Victoria always enjoyed investing in her personal style. In a twist of fate, one year she had to attend 10 weddings. She struggled to find standout headpieces to elevate her looks, which sparked her curiosity, as she was not lacking vision. That led her to complete a short course with Judy Bentinck which was when her obsession for Millinery grew roots.
Victoria launched Victoria Charles Headpieces in 2014. Subsequently she went on to train with many fine Milliners, including Rose Cory OBE, Ian Bennett, Sophie Beale, Jo Miller, Bridget Bailey and Edwina Ibbotson. She completed formal training at London College of Fashion and in 2018 she graduated from the highly regarded HNC Millinery at Kensington & Chelsea College with a distinction.
Drawing upon her extensive experience Victoria creates chic seasonal Ready to Wear and Wholesale Collections. As well as a couture Bespoke and Bridal Millinery Service, operating from her Essex studio location. Victoria’s iconic designs originate from her passion for experimenting with texture, colour and silhouettes. She loves to gift her clients the ability to standout in every environment they occupy. You will recognise her Hats and Headpieces at Royal Ascot, Henley Royal Regatta, Glorious Goodwood, Newcastle Races, The Cheltenham Festival and The Melbourne Cup to name a few.
